Hi all,

We still have a handful of folks who need to lock in their BackerKit survey. We reeeeally don't want to delay production on this, so it's super important to make sure you're locked in. Reminder that this is not the same as the Kickstarter survey that went out a few weeks ago. You should have an email from BackerKit in your email. Please reach out to me directly if you're not seeing it and we will clear it all up. 

Surveys will be locked on Friday evening. That's just 2 days. PLEASE reach out to me with any and all questions or issues! We are ready to get rolling on this!

We are at about 73% completion of the final surveys, so thank you to everybody that got them in over the weekend! Please if you haven't completed your final survey, try to get to it this week. We will be locking orders this Friday, so you don't want to miss that. You should have an email from BackerKit that links to your survey. If you're not seeing one, please reach out to me directly (respond to this update, or message me), and I'll follow up.

Surveys going out very soon!

Woohoo! The final surveys from BackerKit will be going out very soon to your Kickstarter associated email address. They shouldn't land in your spam folder, but if you don't see it in the next couple days, it's probably worth checking. They'll be going out to just a few backers at first to make sure everything is working correctly, and then out to everybody else right after. 

I will give you a little rundown of what to expect with the survey. It should be pretty straightforward, but please reach out to me, or use the built in BackerKit help if you need it! 

First thing's first, you'll get an email from BackerKit to check out the survey. 

Once you click in to it, you will first be asked to make your selections to the watch(es) you purchased. 

You'll then have a couple of quick filler questions. Once you get by those, you will wind up at the add-ons section. Here is where you can add on cool extra things like a steel mesh bracelet, or another watch! 

"But Nathan, I already added an extra leather strap during the Kickstarter campaign! Do I need to add it again here?!?"

No, dear backer! Notice on the right side of the screen (this is your cart), there is already an item listed under Add-ons. It has "(imported via Kickstarter)" as part of the name. No need to click that or anything. Once you click the big "Next" button, you will be able to pick your options for the extra leather strap you added. 

Note that every watch already comes with ONE leather strap and ONE Nato strap. You get to choose if you want brown or black leather. The nato strap that comes with the watch will match the color of the watch dial you select. If you want to purchase an extra Nato strap, and didn't during the Kickstarter campaign, you can add it here in the add-ons section.

***It's worth noting that you can add on an additional watch at this point. We're not making a ton of extras of these, and it will probably be a long time before we do another production run. They will certainly never be this price again.*** So if you were thinking about getting another color, or getting one as a gift for somebody, now is definitely the right time to do it.

If you aren't adding any additional items, then all you have left is to confirm your shipping address. 

If you do add an extra item, you'll just have to provide a form of payment to cover the difference. All money pledged for the Kickstarter campaign has already been collected. You're not going to get charged for that twice. This is just to pay for the extra item(s) you're adding. 

And that's it! I'll add in some photos at the end of this update to give a decent look at the different color and case combinations to help you make your final decisions. 

We need these survey results ASAP just in case we need to tweak numbers with our manufacturer. The survey will only be open for a week. Please try and complete it within that time!

Eyeroll. Small logistics hiccup with BackerKit survey prep. They will start rolling out sometime Friday. This will not affect production time for the watches at all. Hope you're all having a great week!

Hey backers! Thanks so much for your patience as Kickstarter is finalizing collecting funds from everybody who has pledged.

Also, thanks for taking part in the initial soft survey. That really helped me get a clear picture of how many of each color combination to order. The green and red versions are neck and neck for the lead, followed by blue and then black.

In the next couple of days, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as  you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. 

Backerkit is a service that project creators such as myself use to help manage all of the details about you fine folks! Otherwise Kickstarter just exports an Excel spreadsheet, and I'm actually allergic to spreadsheets (ask my wife, it's true).

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You can even add on an extra watch if you want! If you don't add extra items (outside of the add-ons that you may have selected via Kickstarter), all you have to do is fill out the survey. If you DO add extra items, you just have to input your credit card info to cover the extra cost.

There's a pretty sweet steel mesh bracelet that will be available as an add on item! 

You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email! Keep an eye out on Wednesday afternoon.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change  your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts (just click the same survey link in the email that you get). The survey will only be open for one week. Then your answers are locked in.
