When do I pick the watch I want?
After the campaign ends, we will send out a final survey where you will provide your shipping address and choose which watch(es) you want based on the reward you selected. You will also be able to add on additional SOE Roadster watches, collectors case, straps, etc during this final post-campaign survey.

Will the watches be numbered?
Yes! Every watch will be numbered. This number will be based on how many are made in the first run. This will typically be the amount of watches sold on Kickstarter, plus an extra amount of watches that we will keep in stock to sell after the campaign. No watches will be sold outside of Kickstarter until all the watches have shipped.

Is the watch waterproof?
No watch is waterproof. There are differing degrees of water resistance. The SOE Roadster has a water resistance of 10 ATM, but that’s in laboratory settings under constant pressure. The added pressure of motion and other forces during swimming aren’t taken into account with industry standard water resistance rating which is why we always suggest 10 ATM for any water sports activity.
A quick reference guide for the various activities you can expose your watch to under normal circumstances. No matter what the water resistance is, a watch should never be worn in any hot tub, shower, sauna or steam room.
3 ATM = Should not be submerged in water. 5 ATM = Splash Resistant. Suitable for washing hands or light rain. 10 ATM = Water Sports. Suitable for swimming, surfing, etc. 30 ATM = Scuba Diving. Suitable for extreme ocean depths.

Will I be charged customs/duties when I receive my reward? Do you ship from the EU or UK?
We ship from Texas, USA. Customs and taxes due will all depend on your country’s import tax system. We will do everything in our power to minimize any taxes due, but we can’t forecast what those might be. You can check with your local government on their duties rate if this a concern for you.

Is the red version ever be available again after the Kickstarter campain ends?
No. The red will ONLY be available for purchase from this Kickstarter. We will make a handful of extras in the off chance that there are any issues that come up with red version during the 2 year warranty period, but there will be none sold, and they will never be made again! All the more reason to grab one while you can!

What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that’s you!) can support the creator (that’s me!) by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price.

What does it mean to "back" a project?
When you back a project, you’re funding the production of the product. That means you’ll get your choice of watch once it’s produced (based on the pledge level you selected during the campaign). Besides getting the product itself, you’re also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback.

How do I pledge?
In order to pledge, click that green button that says “Back this project”. You’ll get to select your shipping country and choose your desired pledge level and reward.

When is my money collected? What payment methods can I use?
Your money will be collected only after the project ends on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. If the project is cancelled for any reason, you won’t be charged.
You can use any debit or credit card associated with Visa, Mastercard or American Express, as well as Discover and JCB cards. Kickstarter does not accept payments with PayPal.

When will I get my watch?
The S.O.E. Roadster watches have an estimated ship date of August 2021. Depending on your location, you’ll get them sometime between August-September 2021. Please note that this is an estimate, as you’re pre-ordering the watch and production delays could arise.

Why is there a charge on my card before the campaign ends?
When you back the project, Kickstarter sends an authorization to your credit or debit card for the amount of the pledge to make sure there are sufficient funds to capture once the campaign ends. This authorization is only temporary and typically will show as a Pending Charge for around 72 hours. It will then disappear until the campaign ends. Once the campaign ends, Kickstarter will actually charge your card for the full pledged amount.

If there are only 4 color options, why is there a reward option for 8 watches?
There are only 4 dial color options (black, green, blue and red), but there are also 2 case colors (stainless steel and black). So there are technically 8 different watch options to choose from.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
